Andr siak _ <br />BOARD OF P WORTS & S a E TY <br />2T-20-27 <br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2681 <br />RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: That it is <br />desirable to vacate the following: <br />THE FIRST ALLEY NORTH OF HURON STREET FROM WARREN STREET TO CARLISLE STREET <br />The following property may be injuriously or beneficially effected by such vacation: <br />Lots Numbered 256 to 266 inclusive <br />11 <br />Lots lumbered 284 to 294 inclusive, <br />second Plat of Summit Place Addition. <br />Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 20th day of July and on the 27th <br />day of July, 1951, in the South Bend Daily Tribune and the Weekly Record. <br />This Board, at its office in the City Hall on the 6th day of August, 1951 at 11:00 a.m.,? <br />will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by these <br />proceedings. <br />Adopted this 16th day of July, 1951 <br />ATTEST Frank J. S• Andr siak <br />2 T - 7/20 - 7/27 BOARD OF PUBLIC WOTTS & SAFE <br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2674 <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the resolution heretofore adopted by the <br />Board of Public Works for the vacation of THAT PORTION OF THE ALLEY 127 FT. SOUTHOF <br />SAMPLE STREET FROM HIGH STREET EAST, described as follows: Beginning at a point on the <br />east line of High Street, 127 feet south of the southeast corner of the intersection of <br />High Street, and Sample Street, which point of beginning is at the intersection of the <br />east line of High Street and the north line of said alley; thence east along the north <br />line of said alley, and parallel to the south line of Sample Street a distance of 148,72 <br />feet; thence southeast a distance of 19.8 feet to a point on the south line of said alley, <br />which point is 141 feet, south of the south line of Sample Street and 162.71 feet east of <br />the east line of High Street; thence west along the south line of said alley and paral- <br />lel to the south line of Sample Street a distance of 162.71 feet to the east line of <br />High Street; thence north along the east line of High Street a distance of 14 feet to the <br />point of beginning under Vacation Resolution No. 2674. The Clerk of the Board having <br />shown sufficient proofs of publication and no remonstrators having appeared and no writ- <br />ten remonstrances having been filed with the Clerk, it wpLs moved, seconded and unanimously <br />carried that the said resolution be finally adppted and the said portion of alley be va <br />cated, The Engineering Department is directed to prepare an assessment roll covering the <br />assessment of benefits and the award of damages to the surrounding properties. <br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2674 <br />R. S. Andrysiak, City Engineer, filed primary assessment roll showing the awards <br />of damages and the assessments of benefits in the matter of the vacation of THAT PORTION <br />OF THE ALLEY 127 FT.
