Baer BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS & SAFETY CITY CIVIL ENGINEER'S RECOMMENDATION South Bend, Indiana June 18, 1951 To the Board of Public Works & Safety: Referring to the petitions of Clifton Gaines and twenty-eight others for the impro ment of TWENTIETH STREET from the south line of Mishawaka Avenue to the south line of Hammond & Whitcomb Addition, AND Josephine Wunach and four others for the improvement of VINE STREET from the east line of Twenty-sixth Street to the west line of Twenty-seventh Street, AND a petition for the improvement of RANDOLPH STREET from the east line of Twyckenham Drive to the west line of Robinson Street by constructing Class "C" pavements., I would recom- mend that the petitions be granted. Gartner & Associates 428 North Michigan Street South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: South Bend, Indiana June 18, 1951 According to the recommendations of the City Civil Engineer concerning the petitions of Clifton Gaines and twenty-eight others for the improvement of TWENTIETH STREET from the south line of Mishawaka Avenue to the south line of Hammond and Whitcomb Addition, AND ,.Josephine Wunsch and four others for the improvement of VINE STREET from the east line of Twenty-sixth Street to the west line of Twenty-seventh Street, AND a petition for the improvement of RANDOLPH STREET from the east line of Twyckenham Drive to the west line of Robinson Street you are hereby directed to prepare general details drawings, plans, specifications, estimates and preliminary improvement resolutions for improving such part of said streets by constructing Class "C" pavements.
