Perley <br />25.00 <br />Maurice <br />C. <br />Vennet <br />50.00 <br />TRAFFIC <br />.ENGINEERING: Ernest Miller, <br />Traffic Engineer, <br />was <br />present and matters <br />pertainin <br />to his <br />Department were discussed. <br />RAILROADS: A letter was received from the Grand Trunk '."uestern Railroad Company acknowlefg- <br />ing receipt of a letter from the Board in which the Railroad Company was directed to ere(It <br />short -arm automatic gates at grade crossings in South Bend at 35th and 30th Streets. � <br />r <br />ENGINEERING DEPARTYENT: A Contractort s Pond was approved and ordered filed for Fred �I <br />Teitelbaum, <br />Excavation Bonds were approved and ordered filed for V,(illiam H. Burke & Robert H. <br />Burke; Harry Nicodemus, Incorporated; i. Gti'. Sibley and tr. P. Sibley d/b/a Sibley Heating <br />and Plumbing Company; Tony Szymkowiak; and Howard H. 4,'hite. <br />The Board approved plans to install a 1,000 gallon fuel oil storage tank in the wal <br />area in front of Robertsonts Warehouse on the northwest corner of St. Joseph and Monroe <br />Streets. The tank is to be installed at a regulation distance away from any foundation <br />ard'sewOr lines. The sidewalk is to be replaced by a bonded sidewalk contractor and the <br />fill -pipe and vent will be mounted against the building.
