This was referred;`: to the Engineering Department for the preparation of a vacation resolution. :,_>%', ti VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2656 RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC TORKS OF THE CITY OF' SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: That it is de- sirable to vacate the following: The first alley south of Fredrickson Street from O'Brien 11 Street to the east line of the north and south alley and from the west line of the north and south alley to Huey Street. f, the following property may be injuriously or beneficially affected by such vacation: Loth numbered 27 to 33 inclusive, and 40 to 46 inclusive, Fredrickson Melrose Addition; also, Lots Numbered 12 to 16 inclusive, Janowski 2nd Subdivision and Lots Numbered 17 to 21 in — elusive, Janowski 3rd Subdivision. Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 6th day of October and on the 13th day of October, 1950 in the South Bend Daily Tribune and the Weekly Mirror. SAFFETY The Board approved a Grant of Easement by the Crown Development Company, ten (10) feet in width beginning at the southerly line of East Chippewa Avenue which is the north- easterly corner of Lot Number 171, Miami Hills Addition, and extending southwesterly a distance of 78 feet to the northwesterly corner of Lot Number 172, Mliami Hills Addition, The Board approved plans for the Carroll Street sewer from Chippewa Avenue to Sher- wood Avenue. A letter was received from. the Indiana Bell Telephone Company requesting permission to construct underground and aerial cable constructions. Upon the recommendation of the Electrical Superintendent and the Traffic Engineer, the Board granted permission.
