<br />�In the above named assessment roll no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrances;
<br />;were filed, the Clerk of the Board submitted proofs of publication of notices and same
<br />Ijwere found sufficient, and the Board, therefore, finds that the several lots and parcels
<br />Hof land have been benefited and damaged in the amounts shown on said roll. The Board, !'
<br />I, therefore, decided to take final action on said assessment roll and declares same in all
<br />1things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and the proceedings closed,

<br />The Board authorized the Indiana Bell Telephone Company to remove a telephone pole
<br />,know standing on the northwest corner of Lafayette and Wayne Streets with the permission
<br />i:to re -erect the pole between the sidewalk and curbing on West Wayne Street, facing the
<br />Yeager property locato-d on the northwest corner of Wayne and ]Zafayette Streets.
<br />The Board approved plans for the Beverly Place Sewer from manhole 335.6 feet north
<br />of Oakwood to new manhole 186 feet north.
<br />The Board approved improvement plans for North Edison Avenue from Washington Street
<br />Ito Linden Avenue; and, Birchwood Avenue for the Colpaert Realty Corporation.
<br />A petition was received for the improvement of Kendall Street between Donald and
<br />jEwing Avenue by the construction of a pavement.
<br />Messrs. H. Armstrong, D. L. Powell and F. Schaible, representing the U. S. Gypsum
<br />s '
<br />!Company, appeared before the Board in accordance with a request from the Board requesting
<br />!their appearance. They were called in to answer complaints filed by the residents adjacent
<br />• to their plant, concerning gas fumes and mica particles in the air. After a full discus-
<br />'sion, the Board was given assurance that steps would be taken to correct the escaps;ing of!'
<br />!gas fumes and mica particles from the chimneys of said company.
