Beamer, Attorney for <br />Northern Indiana Transit, -Inc. <br />The Contract approved by the Board is in the following words and figures: <br />C O N T R A C T <br />THIS CONTRACT, Made and entered into this 8th day of July, 1950, by and between the <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, acting by and through its Board of Public Works and Safety, <br />hereinafter called the First Party, and NORTHERN INDIANATRAN SIT, INC., a corporation or- <br />ganized under the laws of the State of Indiana, its successors and assigned, hereinafter <br />called the Second Party. <br />WITNESSETH: <br />The parties hereto agree that the certain contract made between the parties and con- <br />firmed by Ordinance of the Common Council of the City of South Bend, on or about the 13th <br />day of May, 1940, as amended by a contract entered into on the 13th day of February, 1948 <br />between the parties and thereafter confirmed by the Common Council, shall be and is here- <br />by amended in each of the following respects: <br />All provisions in said contract, as amended, regarding the charges for token fares <br />are hereby deleted.
