131 NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Whom It May Concern: South Bend, Indiana June 29, 1950 July 6, 1950 • Notice is hereby given, that the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana on the loth day of July at the hour of 10:00 o'clock A.M.-CST at the office of, the Board in the City 'call, will open and consider sealed bids for the follow- ing described Street Improvement. • • • • • j' For the construction of a -combined storm and sanitary sewer on EAST JEFFERSON BOUt LEVARD from the center line of Twenty -Sixth Street to a. point 200 feet ea.st of the center line of iienty-Sixth Street. Provided, all bids for the construction of said work shall be filed in the office of the Clerk of the Board of Public Works and Safety of said City bafore 10:00 o'clock AM -CST of said. day. Each bidder for said work shall enclose withihis bid a Certified Check payable to the Treasurer of said City, in the sum, of five (5) per cent of the amount of his bid or a bid bond for five (5) per cent of the amount of his bid, to insure the execution of a. Contract, if said work is awarded to hiz. Detailed plans and specifications for said work are on file in the office of the Department of Engineering.
