112 ENGINEER'S REPORT South Bend, Indiana May 31, 1950 The Board of Public Works & Safety City of South Bend, Indiana Gentlemen: In the matter of the, Bids for the Improvement of CT �ICAGO STREET from the 150 feet north of the north line of Western Avenue to the ,center line of Washington Street in ac- cordance with Improvement Resolution No. 2630, 19,50, AND CHICAGO STREET from the center Line of Washington Street to the center line of Linden Avenue in accordance with Improvement Resolution No. 26311 1950,rAND WARREN STREET from the center line of Indiana Avenue to 150 feet north of the north line of Prairie Avenue in accordance with Improvement Resolution No; 2632, 1950 passed by the Board of Public Works and Safety on .April 24, 1950 and confirmed by said Board on May 9, 1950. We hereby report that we have tabulated and examined the several Bids submitted to the Board on May 22, 1950 and find that the Niles Excavating Company, Niles, Michigan has the lowest and best bids. ed.
