PARKING METER DEPARTMENT:.__ Mr. Maurice C. Vennet, Auditor presented his report for the week ending May 13, 1950. CEMETERY DEPARTMENT: Mr. Stanley Leszczynski, Sexton was present and matters pertaining to his Department were discussed. Mr.. Miller presented a list of traffic signals which have been installed on city streets upon his recommendation and the approval of the Board. The Board now confirms and ratifies these installations at the following locations: Intersection of Angela, Blaine, Diamond and Portage Intersection of California, Cottage Grove, DeMaude and Portage Intersection of Calvert and Main Streets Intersection of Forest, LaMonte, Lindsey and Portage Intersection of Jefferson and Ironwood Drive Intersection_ of Jefferson and William Street Intersection of LaSalle and William Street i Intersection of Madison and -Main Street i Intersection of Sample and Walnut Street STATE TRAFFIC SIGNALS Intersection of Ewing and Michigan Street Intersection of Ironwood Drive and McKinley Street (Flasher Signals Intersection of Lincolnway East and Miami Intersection of Michigan Navarre Intersection of Colfax and Hill Street A petition was received asking that a traffic signal be installed at the intersectio: of Oliver, Dubail and Prairie .Avenue. This was referred to Mr. hiller for investigation and report. An .Agreement was entered into between the State Highway Commission of Indiana by and through its Chairman, Samuel C. Hadden and the City of South Bend by the Board of Public Works and Safety, wherein traffic signals are to be installed at the intersections of S; R. 2 (Western Avenue) and Ka.ley Street, S.
