All members were present. <br />Comes now Mr. Watterson and Mr. Hahn representing the Northern Indiana Transit Com i' <br />pany and presenting the following petition <br />May 26, 191+9 <br />Honorable Board of Public Works and Safety !: <br />City of South Bend, Indiana <br />214 North Main Street <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />Gentlemen: <br />Effective June 11 191+9, Bendix Field, St. Joseph County Airport <br />will have completed the improvements on the port and ready for <br />occupancy, <br />Northern Indiana Transit, Inc. respectfully petitions your <br />Honorable Body for the privelege of operating bus service, <br />on a trial basis, between the hours of 7 AM to 9 AM and fit- PM <br />to 6 PM from the intersection of Crumstown Avenue and Lincoln <br />Way West in a South Westerly direction on Crumstown Avenue <br />to Bendix Drive; then on the Bendix Drive to Lincoln Way West; <br />thence North West on Ibincoln Way West and Route 20 to Airport <br />enterance; thence North on Airport Highway to Airport and re- <br />turning over same route to Lincoln Way West and Crumstown Ave- <br />nue.
