The Street Department
was authorized to grade said lot.
Mr. Brannan talked to the Board at some length about the condition of the streets
of the City and the steps his department has taken to maintain them. He also explained
various methods his department has been using to clear the streets of parked cars at
night so the streets can be cleaned, swept and flushed.
Mr. Brannan informed the Board thatcthe new buildings were nearing completion and
are very satisfactoryt but that they will not house all of the Street Department
equipment and material. He feels that the Street Department should have two more
buildings similar to those just erected so all equipment can be kept under cover. No
action was taken however.
0.
.7
0
•
0
0
0
