This <br />was referred to Mr. •"iller for investigation and report. <br />ENGINEERING DEPARTT,IENT: A petition to improve Grace Street from-{ebster Street to JTalnu <br />street was presented to the Board, and referred by them to the City Engineer. <br />A Contractor's bond was approved and ;ordered filed for Casmier Szewczyk. 9 <br />Excavation bonds were approved and ordered filed for C. S. Randolph and Edward J. <br />White, Inc. <br />The following sewer plans were approved by the Board: Ford Strect fron Gladstone tc <br />Lombardy Drive; Juniper Place from Fair4,Ta.y to Ford Stre-at; Fairway from Sample Street to <br />Lombardy Drive; Greenview Avenue from Sample Strect to Lombardy Drive; Birchwood Avenue <br />from ,Sample Street to Lombardy Drive; Sample Street from Failway to Lombardy give. <br />Mr. Harold A. Smith appeared before <br />pp Ne ore she -,Board to ask permission to erect a canopy <br />on the South Bend Shrine Club -on Lincoln T;:'ay East, to be used only on occasion when <br />needed. Per -fission was granted provided the Shrine Club carry sufficient insurance for <br />injury to persons or property. <br />STREET DEPART1,1ENT: TJir.
