<br />No. 2575, 1948, adopted August �, 1948 from North Line of I,",icha�:�aka Avenue to youth
<br />• property line of Lots "Alland " " in Hastings, t:'ood��rard and Gray Addition by draining,
<br />grading and paveing the coardtiray :�ri th a Class rrCrr pavement, Types 1 to 5 inclusive.
<br />After hearing all persons interested who appeared and being fully advised. in the nremiee
<br />the - oard deci dcs that the benefits to the property liable to be assessed for said irz-
<br />provement are equal to the estimated cost of the same as reported by the City Civil
<br />Engineer. Therefore,
<br />Be It tesolved, By the Board of Public ;Forks and Safety of the City of South
<br />Bend, Indiana that Improvement resolution No. 2515, 19L8 duly passed by the ;hoard on
<br />August 9, 194A for the above improvement, re and the same is hereby in all things con-
<br />firmed and the improvement is hereby ordered to be made.

<br />BE IT 'ESOLV ED, By the -, oard of Public vTorks and Safety of the City of South
<br />• jBend, Indiana, that the Profiles, Drazrings, Plans, General Details, Specifications and
<br />{Estimates approved by this oard, on the 9th day of August, 1948, for the improvement of
<br />Twenty-fifth (25th) Street from North line of Mishawaka ".venue to South property line of
<br />lots "A" and "B" in Hastings, Woodward and Gray Addition by draining, grading and paving
<br />the roadway with a Class "C" Pavement as f ollot.-rs{ Types 1 to 5 inclusive, be and the
<br />same are hereby adopted and ordered placed_ on file in the office of the Department of
<br />Engineering of this 'Board.
<br />September 27, 1948, at the '_Hour of 10:00 A.11. C.D.T. is hereby fixed as the
<br />time and the office of the 'Board of Public Works and Safety in the City TTall of this Cit
<br />as the place, when and where the Board_ of Public Works and Safety will open and consider
<br />bias for the above named i:provement, provided all bids for the construction of said wor
<br />shall be filed in the office of the Clerk_ of this Board before 10:00 A.TT. C.D.T. of said
<br />day, j'ach bidder for said work shall enclose with his bid a certified check, payable to
<br />the Treasurer of this City in the sur_r: of two and one-half (21) per cent of the amount of
<br />his bid, or a bid bond for two and one-half (2z) per cent of the amount of his bid, to
<br />insure the execution of this contract, if,said vTork is awarded to him.
<br />The Clerk of t'=is Board is hereby ordered to give notice by two weekly pub-
<br />lications of the time and place, when and where bids will be received, opened and con-
<br />widered for the construction of said work. Said Cl_er _ shall state in said notices, that
<br />cadh bidder shall enclose with his bid a certified check or bid bond for a ove named
<br />amount, to insure the execution of this contract.
