<br />This being the date set, hearing was 'lad on thr resolution heretofore adopted
<br />by the Board of Public Works for the vacation of the alley I-;orth of Prairie Avenue from
<br />Jackson Street East and TIorth to the North line of Lot :-22 Plat of ItJalnut 4th Addition
<br />under Vacation_ Resolution No 2576. The Clerk of the Board having shown sufficient woof
<br />of publication and no remonstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances having
<br />been filed with the Clerk, it- wras roved, seconded a: id unanimously carried that the said
<br />resolution be finally adopted and the said alley be vacated. The Engineering Department
<br />is directed to prepare an assess-ment roll covering the assessment of benefits and the
<br />award of damages to the surrounding properties.
