379 <br />n <br />U <br />r� <br />U <br />0 <br />The City PlanCommission indicated by letter that they approve the vacation of <br />two sections of alley in Oakside 3rd Addition. The.City Engineer was directed to <br />prepare a vacation resolution for same. <br />The City Plan Commission indicated by letter that they approve the vacation of the <br />section of alley running West from North Blmer Street next North of Elwood Avenue and <br />between -lots 65 and lots 4, 5, and 6 in Huey Heights Addition and the City Engineer was <br />directed to prepare a vacation resolution for same. <br />The City Plan Commission indicated by letter that the approve the vacation of a j <br />portion of an alley in Walnut 4th Addition and the City Engineer was.directed to prepare;, <br />a vacation resolution for same. <br />The Board approved the grade on Kentucky Street from Sample Street to Ford Street <br />and on Revere Place from East of Kentucky to 365.87 feet Southeast of Kentucky Street. <br />The Board approved the grade on Dunham Street from the east side of an alley West <br />of Dundee Street to the west side of the alley East of Lake Street. <br />STREET DEPARTMENT: Mr. Melton Brannan, Street Commissioner, was present and matters <br />Pertaining to his department were discussed. <br />Mr. H. L. Underwood and Mr. Jack Oehmke came before the Board to ask permission <br />to decorate the down town streets for the Veterans of Foreign Wars Convention. The <br />Board approved their request with the stipulation that they file an indemnity bond with <br />the city. <br />CEMETERY DEPARTMENT: Mr. Stanley Leszuzynski, Sexton, was present and matters pertain- <br />ing to his department were discussed. <br />i <br />There being no further business to cone before the Board, the meeting was adjournedli <br />at 10:00 A.M. <br />ATTEST: <br />C�erk <br />RKS <br />i <br />June 14, <br />1948 <br />. <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on Monday, June <br />A.M. <br />14, 1948 <br />at 9:30 Mr. Troeger was <br />absent.
