<br />Council in Indianapolis on September 30 and also to attend the conference of the
<br />National Safety Council in Chicago October 6th to 10th inclusive.

<br />1947 at 2:30 P.i`. Mr. Montgomery was absent.
<br />The meeting was called for the purpose of discussing matters pertaining to
<br />the Street and Traffic Departments.
<br />After reviewing the bids for the sale of the street car rails removed from the
<br />City Streets it was the decision of the Board to accept the bid of the Hurwich Iron
<br />Company for the rails, their bid being the highest submitted.
<br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was ad-
