Braunsdorf <br />and son. <br />I� Contract Number 5 was submit ted by Consoer, Townsend and Associates. These <br />! plans were to cover the interceptor sewer from the intersection of OaktTb:od:78oUle-4w <br />jl v-ard aird-,11arth ..Shore _:_Drive to the Plant Site. <br />Paul M. Butler and Leo Rieder -representing property owners and businessmen <br />in the vicinity of East Washington Street came before the �oard to. remonstrate <br />agains the building of a ready mixed concrete plant on East-Iflashington Street <br />and Hiles Avenue. They also remonstrated against the granting of a permit to <br />construct an `overhead conveyor over East 7 ashington Street from one part of the <br />plant to another. <br />• Vacation Resolution No. 2554 <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll showing the <br />r ( award of damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of Vacation the alley <br />South of Ewing Avenue from I.,Iichigan Street vilest to the first alley West of Michigan <br />Street- under Vacation Resolution No. 2554. <br />I <br />�1 In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written <br />'i remons-t�rances were filed, the Clerk of the Board submitted proofs of publication <br />of notices and same were found sufficient, and the Board, therefore, finds that the <br />(! several lots and parcels of land have been benefited and damaged in the amounts <br />shown on said roll. The Board, therefore, decides to take final action on said <br />• 1 assessment roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved <br />i;without modification and the Droceedings closed, and the alley vacgted upon receipt <br />ii <br />of the amount of benefit assessments fr _ various property owners so benefitted <br />jI and all proceedings had with referenced alley vacation are hereby sustained. <br />
