Bay S. Andrysiak, City :Engineer, filed primary assessment roll showing the <br />awards of damages and the assesments of benefits in the matter of the vacation of <br />the Second alley North of Longley Avenue from Elmer Street to Olive Street under Vac- � <br />ation Resolution No. 2552.. ! <br />In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that it will meet <br />in the City Hall at`11:00 A.T. on the 23rd day of September, 1946 at 11:00 A.M. for Il <br />the purpose of hearing and -receiving remonstrances from all persons interested in or <br />affected by said vacation, and the Board further orders that notice of said hearing <br />together with the amount of damages -awarded and benefits assessed be address to the <br />property owners b; publishing same on the 6th Q7 of Septeriber , and on the 13th day <br />of September, 1946 in the South Bend Daily Tribune and the `sleekly Mirror. it <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adj <br />at 11:00 A. M. <br />September 9, 1946 <br />A -regular meeting of the Board of Public 7orks was held on Monday, Septamber9 <br />1946 at 8:30 A.M. Mr. Cummings was absent. Minutes of the last meeting were read <br />and approved. Salary claims in the amount of °;11, 305.44 were approved and ordered <br />paid. Claims of the following suppliers in the amount of Q489.38 were approved and <br />ordered paid: <br />Arrow Towel Linen Service <br />Business Systems <br />Otto Gratzol <br />Indiana ;ell Telephone <br />Badur Bros. <br />C . Ernest Killer, Traffic Engineer, was present and matters per - <br />Ming to his department were discussed. <br />ENGINEERING DEPART:ET T: A Contractorts bond in the amount of j1,000.00 was approved <br />an7 orderea filed for he Colpaert Realty Corporation. <br />A petition was _received from the Indiana A Michigan Electric Company for per- <br />mission to install underground conduits and zanholes on Lafayette Boulevard. This <br />was referred to the City Engineer and if it meets with his aDproval it .will be. <br />approved by the Board. <br />CEMETERY DEPARTMENT: ! r.
