T,Tinutes of the last meeting ,were read <br />and approved. Salary claims in the amount of?16,503.93 were approved and order- <br />ed paid. Ba-ringer. <br />A letter was received from the City Plan Commission indicating that they <br />approved the vacation of the alley North of Sample and ',Test of Grant Street. <br />VACATION R ESOLUTION No. 2549 <br />RESOLVED BY THE BOARD Or PUBLIC ''IORKS OF =1 . CITY Or SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />That it is desirable to vacate the following <br />The second alley .Vest of Grant Street from Sample Street to the South line <br />of the Chicago, Indiana and Southern Railroad right -of -gray, and the alley North <br />of Sample Street from the East line of the second alley ';lest of Grant Street <br />to a Point fourteen (14) feet west of the East line of Lot No. Nineteen (191 <br />Gorsuchts 3rd Addition. <br />The following property may be injuriously or beneficially effected by such <br />vacation: <br />All of lots 16 to 25 inclusive, in Gorsuchts 3rd Addition. <br />This alley will be re -located by a dedication of a strip of land 14 feet <br />wide off of the entire east side of Lot No. 19 in said Gorsuchts 3rd _addition. <br />Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 2nd day of August and <br />on the 9th day of August, 19$6 in the South Send Daily tribune and the Teekly <br />Mirror. <br />This Board, at its office in the City Hall on the 19th. day of August, 1966 <br />at 11:00 A.1 will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons.interested <br />in or af_'ected b-T said proceedings. <br />ADopted this 29th day of July, 1946. <br />R.
