ME <br />ENGINEERIND D EPARTTT'1E111TT : There was filed with the Board a certificate of insurance cov- <br />ering any and all personal or property damage which might arise from the operation across! <br />I a public way or alley, of an unloading device by the Fabricated Steel Products Company. �( <br />Arrangement w1l ereb y such certificate was filed, eras approved, but the certificate itself �f <br />was returned to the Insurance Company and its correction requested before filing. j <br />Excavation bonds were approved for Robert L. Thorpe, Milton F. Shisler, The Pre- <br />cision Piece Parts Company and :Dewey . illiford. These were ordered filed. <br />Mr. Farris Ackil appeared before the Board to ask permission to attach a private <br />sever to a main sewer. The Board the permission provided that a plan is first submitted' • <br />to Mr. Lineback, the Plumbing Inspector, and approved by him. <br />1! The S-L-A-B Construction Company asked for permission to remove a street light ! <br />post at the intersection of "EUder and I'Tichigan Streets. The Board granted.the per- <br />mission provided ii1r. Qualls makes an investigation and recora,iendati.on of same and <br />informs the Llectric Company. <br />STREET DEPAR TrIETTT: iir. Casiraer Balka, Street Cornraissioner, was present and matters per- Il <br />tanning to his apartment were discussed. I _. <br />The Board accepted a surety Bond covering contract for supply ing the city isith . <br />asphalt for the period ending :December 31, 1946, by the Standard Oil Company of Indiana,! <br />and directed the Clerk of the Board to return to the Standard Oil Company, the certified l <br />check which accompanied their bid. <br />CEi11ETERY DEPARTI:iENT: IIr. Brookfield Street to Johnson Street because <br />of the presence of a 6 inch :Dater main doom the center of Sibley Avenue,.
