248 <br />ENGINEERIND DEPARTLUT' T: There was filed with the Board a certificate of insurance cov- <br />ering any and all personal or property damage which might arise from the operation acros <br />a public way or alley, of an unloading device by the Fabricated Steel Products Company. <br />Arrangement w]-riereb y such certificate was filed, was approved, but the certificate itself <br />was returned to the Insurance Company and its correction requested before filing. <br />Excavation bonds were approved for Robert L. Thorpe, TTilton F. S hisler, The Pre- <br />cision Piece Parts Company and -Dewey 7illifo-rd. These were ordered filed. <br />IIr. Farris Ackil appeared before the Board to ask permission to attach a private <br />sewer to a main sewer. The Board the pen.ii scion provided that a plan is first submitted. <br />to Vir. Lineback, the Plumbing Inspector, and approved by him. <br />The S-L-A-B Construction Company asked for permission to remove a street light <br />post at the intersection of Balder and TichILgan Streets. The Board granted.the per- <br />mission provided irTr. Qualls makes an investigation and recommendation of same and <br />inforrxs the 'Jlectric Company. <br />STREET DEPARTPIENT: i1Ir. 'aachowiak. <br />The Bond for the Fabricated Steel Products, Inc., which was returned to the Ins- <br />urance Company for correction ,:ras approved by the Joard in its corrected form. <br />A letter was received from Aaron Huguenhard indicating that the Electric Company <br />and the Chicago, South Shore and South Bend Railroad had come to an agreement concern- <br />ing the easement for the po,rrer lines on that portion of Sycamore Street which w as vac- <br />ated under Vacation Resolution No. 2546. <br />A letter was received from the City Plan Corraission indicating that they do not <br />recommend the vacation of Sibley Avenue from Brookfield Street to Johnson Street because <br />of the presence of a 6 inch grater main down the center of Sibley Avenue,.
