E.-Meyer & Son <br />11.55 <br />TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT: Mr. <br />Ernest Miller, 'Traffic Engineer, was present <br />andmatters pertain - <br />ling ing to his department were discussed. <br />liENGINEERING DEPARTMENT: <br />Contractorts bonds <br />were approved for Erhart <br />Strohm and Thomas <br />Buczynski and were ordered <br />filed. <br />` The Board approved the <br />plans showing the replatting of the Kettlehut <br />Addition to the <br />'! dirty of South Bend. <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />DEDICATION _ <br />HEHEAS, plats with dedications of streets and alleys indicated thereon, are now <br />presented to the :Board, to be known as Fernwood Addition to the City of South Bend, Ind- <br />iana <br />AND, these plats and dedications are recorded in Book , Pages in the <br />Recorder's Office of St. Joseph County, <br />NQ4V, THERB!i`QHB, be it resolved by the Board of Public corks and Safety of South <br />Bend, Indiana, that all public streets, alleys and public places dedicated to thepublic <br />use in said plat, are hereby accepted and approved by said Board for and on behalf of th <br />City of South fiend, Indiana. <br />The City Plan Commission approved the vacation of an alley in Sunnymede 3rd Additio <br />from Monroe Street to South Street between lots #594 and 595, and lots #635 and 636. The <br />also approved the vacation of an alley running West from 25th Street to the north and <br />South alley next 1.11est between Pleasant Street and Kerslake Street. These referred were <br />to the Engineering Department to prepare vacation resolutions. <br />A petition was received containing six signatures, asking for the opening of Q'Bri <br />Street from ''uerwinski Street South to the first alley. This was referred to the Engin- <br />eering Department for investigation and report. <br />The Board approved the plans for the construction of a swwer on Huey Street, sub- <br />mitted by -Whitcomb and Keller. <br />STHLET DEPARTMENT: 1.1r. Anthony Zmudzinski, Street commissioner, was present and matters <br />pertaining to his department were discussed. <br />CEMETERY DEPARTMENT: 1_'dlr. Stanley Les,,ezynski, Sexton, was present and matters pertaini <br />to his department were discussee'd. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned <br />at 10:00 A.M. <br />
