19 �7 March 19, 1945 i A regular meeting of the Board of Public Viorks was held on Mondays March 1921945 �.at 9:00 A.M. All members were present. Minutes of the last meeting were read and app- roved. Claims of the following suppliers in the mount of $1,961.29 were approved and lordered paid: !S. Keller., Inc.., and was ordered filed. I Vacation Resolution No. 2534 i I' Mr. Clyde E. Williams, City Engineer, filed a primary assessment roll showing 11the awards of damages and the assessments of benefits in the matter of Vacation Resol- ution No. 2534 same being the vacation of the A11ey West of Olive.Street from Orange '!Street to the South line of the Alley North of Orange Street. i' In the above named assessment roll, tte Board hereby orders that it will meet in the City Hall at 11:00 A.T. on the 9th day of April, 1945, for the purpose of hearing • and receiving remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by said vaca- I�tion, and the Board further orders that notice of said hearing, together with the amount hof damages awarded and benefits assessed be addressed to the property owners by publish - Ding same on the 23rd day of March and on the 30th day of March, 1945 in the South Bend J Daily Tribune and the Weekly Mirror. Vacation Resolution No_, 2535 This being the date set, hearing was held on the resolution heretofore adopted by 14the Board of Public Works for the vacation of Alexis Court, from the West line of Col- umbia Street to the 'East line of the .Alley West of Columbia Street, under vacation res- olution No. 2535. The Clerk of the Board having shown sufficient proofs of publication !land no remonstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances having been filed with the Clerk, it was moved, seconded and unanimously carried that the said resolut.iori be jifinally adopted and the said Court be vacated. The Engineering Department is directed jto prepare an assessment roll covering the assessment of benefits and the award of`' "damages to the surrounding properties. i! - j Mr. Clyde E.
