Ernest killer, Traffic Engineer, was present and matters perta <br />ing to his department were discussed. <br />The Board approved the plans and specifications for the installation of part of the <br />Traffic Signal Systems for the uptown district and directed the Clerk of the Board to <br />advertise for bids for same as soon as the State Board of Accounts have approvea the <br />transfer of funds'for the said installation. <br />STREET DEPARTMENT: Hr. Anthony Zmudzinski, Street Commissioner, was present and matters <br />pertaining to" his department were discussed. <br />ENGINEERING DEPARU ENT: -The Board approved the established grade for the first alley. <br />East of High Street from Broadway to the alley North, and the grade for the alley north <br />of Broadway from ;Nigh Street to the second alley East. <br />The 3oard approved a private sewer connection at Medora and Elwood Streets for <br />Dre`e^Try's Ltd. <br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2529 <br />This being the date set hearing was had on the resolution heretofore adopted by <br />the Board of Public Works for the vacation of that portion of Donald Street from the <br />'::Test line of High Street to the Studebaker Park Golf Links, under vacation resolution <br />no. 2529. The Clerk of the Board having shown sufficient proof of publication and no <br />remonstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances having been filed, it was <br />moved, seconded and unanimously carried that the said resolution be finally adopted and <br />the said alley be vacated.- The Engineering Department is directed to prepare an assessm <br />roll covering the assessments of benefits and the awards of damages to the surrounding <br />properties. <br />t <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />
