Williams, <br />City Engineer, filed primary assessment <br />roll showing awards of damages <br />and assessments <br />of benefits in the matter <br />of the vacationll. <br />,I of the alley between Jennings <br />Avenue and Dean Street from South Michigan <br />Street Westward! <br />to the North -South .Alley between <br />Michigan and Main Streets, under vacation resolution <br />No. 2528. <br />In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that it will meet in it <br />the City Hall at 10:00 A.M. on the 14th day of august, 1944 for the purpose of hearing <br />and receiving remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by said vacation,�j <br />and the Board further orders that notice of said hearing, together with the amount of ;I <br />damages awarded and benefits assessed be addressed to the property owners by publishing 1 <br />same on the 21st day of July and the 28th day of July, 1944 in the South Bend Daily Ij <br />Tribune and the weekly Mirror. Button, designing �( <br />Engineer of the New York Central System, asking that the City extend to them Preference <br />Rating AA-3, Allotment Symbol F-6, to obtain flashing light signals for the Arnold Street <br />Grossing. This rating is AA-3, Allotment Symbol F-6. <br />You are hereby authorized to use this rating in your purchase of materials out- <br />lined in the application for this project. Enclosed is either the negative'o"r another <br />photostatic copy of the preference rating.
