120 <br />STREET DEPARTMENT: Mr. Anthony Zmudzinski, Street Commkssioner, was present and matt <br />pertaining to his,department were discussed. <br />Mr. Zmudzinski turned over to the Board, 12900 received from the Northwest Truck- <br />ing Company for grading. <br />This being the date set for opening bids requested for one asphalt spreader, and". <br />only one bid being received, said bid was opened and read by Mr. Williams. Korte <br />Brothers of Fort -Wayne, Indiana, bid on one used asphalt spreader, capacity.870 gallon <br />price $2,200.00. A bid bond in the amount of $500.00 accompanied the bid. No action <br />was taken. <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER: Mr, Ernest Miller, Traffic Engineer, was present and matters pertain <br />to his department were discussed. <br />CEMETARY DEPARTMENT: Mr. Stanley Leszczynski, Cemetary Sexton, was present and matters <br />pertaining to his department were discussed. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, <br />at 10:00 A.M. <br />ATTEST: <br />the meeting was adjourned at <br />MEETING - SEPTEMBER 7, 1943 <br />A regular meeting <br />of the <br />Board of Public Works was held on Tuesday, September <br />7, 1943 <br />at 9:00 A.M.
