Salary Claim <br />$ 62.50 <br />STREET DEPARTMENT: IYIr. Tony Zmudzinski, Street Commissioner was present and matters <br />pertaining to his depavtm_ent were discussed. <br />ENGINEERING DEPARTITIENT: A Contractor's Bond was approved for John L. Landgraf, in <br />the amount of 4`�1,000.00 and held by the Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland. <br />CEMET.&RY DEPARTMENT: Mr. Lisle I,ZcNabb presented his report for the month of April, 1943 <br />LEGAL DEPARTMENT: The condemnation proceedings for the property vv'_ni ch lies immediately <br />South cf the Present City Hall, and whic1h was to have had a hearing on this date, was <br />postponed until the morning of ',.,.,Tay 17, 1943; No remonstrators appeared. <br />There being no further business to come before the•Board the meeting adjourned <br />at 10 :00 A. Ernest I.:ilier, Traffic Engineer. <br />ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT: The following letter was presented to the Board: <br />At the regular meeting of the Common Council May loth, Councilman <br />Nie:zgodski made a :notion that the .Board of Public sJor'�s be notified <br />to contact the Railroad Companies and work out some plan to take <br />care of the crosswalks at the Railroad intersections. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Korpal, and carried by unanimouse-,vote. <br />At the time this matter was discussed, the streets mentioned in <br />particular were located in the Vv'est section of the City. <br />(signed) <br />This letter was referred to Mr., 111illiezis. <br />I,arie I�.
