104 ENGITEERING DEPARTMENT: nr. Williams presented a letter from the New York Central Railroad stating that a car load of material was expected and that they would be able to start repairing the Twyckenhatia Crossing about the first of May. The Board authorized i'Ir. Clyde li'�illiams, City`Civil Engineer; to go to Chicago" April 20 and 21st, to inspect the construction of patented asphalt Material for use in patching streets. LEGAL.,DEPARTIYiENT: The hearing on the condemnation proceedings for the property which • lies immediately south of the present City mall had been postponed until this date, and was again postponed until April 26. Zmudzinski presented :15.00 to the Board which was received from the Tucker Company for the use of the grader.
