104 <br />ENGITEERING DEPARTMENT: nr. Williams presented a letter from the New York Central <br />Railroad stating that a car load of material was expected and that they would be able <br />to start repairing the Twyckenhatia Crossing about the first of May. <br />The Board authorized i'Ir. Clyde li'�illiams, City`Civil Engineer; to go to Chicago" <br />April 20 and 21st, to inspect the construction of patented asphalt Material for use <br />in patching streets. <br />LEGAL.,DEPARTIYiENT: The hearing on the condemnation proceedings for the property which • <br />lies immediately south of the present City mall had been postponed until this date, and <br />was again postponed until April 26. Zmudzinski to have a street s:�reeper completely over- <br />hauled by the I,iunicipal Supply Company at a cost of $458.00 <br />I?. Zmudzinski presented :15.00 to the Board which was received from the Tucker <br />Company for the use of the grader. <br />ENGINEERIlM DEPARUDIE1TIT : The Traffic Engineer, at the recuest of the Board, has written <br />a letter to the Chicago, South Bend. and South Shore Railroad, to determine whether br ` <br />not they would install certain ,warning signs along their richt of way intersections" <br />immediately. <br />LEGAL DE'PARTI'.
