This recommendation is made to permit the widening
of Mish&waka Avenue, if and when it is deemed necessary, without excessive expense and
the removal of trees.
Upon motionduly made and seconded, the Board adopted the recommendation of the
Engineering Department.
A contractor's bond was received for Harry H. Verkler. This bond was approved and
ordered filed.
TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT: 11r. Ernest Miller was present and matters pertaining to his depart-
ment were discussed.
The Board approved the action of the Traffic Engineer in prohibiting parkingcon the
north side of 'Nestmore Street from Bendix Drive to Eclipse Place; also on the west side
of Goodlawn Avenue from Bendix Drive to Frederickson Street.
Mr. Miller reported that for the coming school year, the School City had agreed
to use school janitors for traffic duty at school intersections, thereby relieving
regular policemen from that duty. The Board authorized the purchase of eight caps to
be used by these janitors.
There being no further business to come before the
10:00 A.
