MEETING -- NOVEMBER 17, 1941 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on Monday, November 17, <br />1941 at 9:00 A. M. All members <br />were present. <br />Minutes of the last <br />meeting were <br />read and <br />approved. C. Hay Co. Inc., to furnish and install <br />a new hand rail on the Sample Street Bridge. This proposal -,was ordered filed. <br />The Board granted the Marine Corp the right to place a Marine Corp sign near either <br />the City Hall or the Ccurt House. <br />PJIr. Sam Coffman advised the Board of a change in the price of parking at #215 S. St <br />Joseph. St., and at #118 S. La Fayette Blvd. <br />ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT: A petition was received asking for a street light at the inter- <br />section of Tasher St., and Main St. This petition was turned over to lair. Qualls for <br />investigation and report. <br />A letter was received from the Transcontinental & Western Air, Inc., enclosing a <br />copy of "Airport Notice". This letter and notice were ordered filed. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting adjourned <br />at 10:30 A.
