29 <br />MEETING --- SEPTEMBER 15, 1941 <br />�J <br />11 <br />ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT: A petition was received asking that the alley West of Twyckenh <br />Drive, between Checter Street and the alley North of Mishawaka Avenue be vacated. This <br />petition was turned over to the City Plan Commission. <br />An excavation bond was received for Goheen Plumbing & Heating Co. This bond was <br />approved and ordered filed. <br />ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT: Mr. Qualls was present and matters pertaining to his department <br />were discussed. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting adjourned at <br />10:30 A. M. <br />MEETING - SEPTEMBER 22, 1941 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on Monday, September 22, 194 <br />at 9:00 A. M.. Two members were present, Mr. Nathan Levy being absent. Minutes of the <br />last meeting were read and approved. A. Riddell Co. <br />Bucyrus, Ohio <br />Mr. Zmudzinski was authorized to contact Herman F. Glaser, Jr., and instruct him to <br />oceed with the necessary repairing and cement coating of the concrete posts along Linco <br />y E. from Sample St., to Twyckenham Dr., at a price cf $485.00. - <br />ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT: A petition was received asking that the first alley north of <br />iBowman St., from Main St., to the first alley east of Main St., be Vacated. This petiti <br />as turned over to the City Plan Commission. <br />TRAFFIC COMMISSION: A letter was received from Irving J. Smith, protesting against the <br />No Parking signs on the east side of Portage Avenue forth of the viaduct. This letter <br />I�as turned over to Mr. Miller, traffic Engineer. <br />
