The understructure shall <br />be a western, crossmemberless design for reduced weight, <br />easier clean up and lower body floor height Rear apron shall <br />incorporate three FMVSS #108 compliant clearance lights <br />which shall be mounted within rubber grommets and connected <br />through a one-piece wiring harness wrapped in a plastic <br />convoluted loom for protection from abrasion. <br />Tailgate: Tailgate shall be double -walled design with the inner /NO <br />panel fabricated of 10 GA A1011 Grade 50 steel, 50,000 <br />PSI yield strength, 65,000 The top and bottom of the <br />tailgate shall be formed box sections for added strength _ <br />and rigidity. Tailgate shall be dirt shedding design. Tailgate <br />lower release mechanism shall be grease zerk lubricated. <br />The release handle shall be located at the front, left side of <br />the body. The tailgate shall have high strength, adjustable <br />3/8" chain provided to hold the tailgate open for spreading <br />aggregate material. Tailgate shall be double acting and be <br />able to lie down in flat position. <br />Lights and <br />Reflectors: There shall be four (two per side) oval rubber grommet WKO <br />lights, recessed and protected, complete with wiring harness. <br />The top shall be LED type strobes and the bottom shall be <br />LED bralce/turn, tail. There shall be two led strobe lights <br />mounted under the body cab shield facing forward. There <br />shall be two led strobe lights mounted under the cab shield <br />facing sideways. The chassis lights shall be retained and <br />mounted off the pintle hitch plate. For extra stop tail turn <br />as well as reverse lighting. <br />Hoist: Shall be rated NTEA performance Class F with minimum INO <br />of 17 ton lifting capacity. Mounting height of hoist 7". <br />Maximum dump angle 45 degrees. Hoist shall be power up <br />power down. Cylinder bore shall be 6". Cylinder shaft <br />diameter 2-3/8". Cylinder stroke 27-1/4". Body prop, body <br />up light shall be included. Hoist shall be powered by a hot shift <br />transmission PTO. <br />14 <br />
