Councilmember Karen White seconded the motion <br /> which carried by a voice vote of eight (8) ayes. <br /> SPECIAL BUSINESS <br /> BILL NO. <br /> 17.28 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL <br /> OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, <br /> PUBLICLY COMMENDING AND HONORING <br /> VICE CHANCELLOR KAREN L. WHITE FOR <br /> OVER 42 YEARS OF DEVOTED SERVICE AND <br /> COMMITMENT TO THE STUDENTS OF <br /> INDIANA UNIVERSITY- SOUTH BEND <br /> Councilmember Tim Scott asked that Councilmember Karen White approach the podium to be <br /> joined by those members of her family present in the chambers.
