The hydrologic model will focus on the estimated response for following watershed development states: <br />• Prior to the Miami Road widening project <br />• Existing condition <br />• Future, fully developed Southfield Development conditions <br />• Detention/alternative analysis response <br />Task 4 — Alternative Solution Analysis <br />At a minimum, conceptual alternatives that will be considered in the report will include: <br />• Detention north of Kern Road upstream of Southfield Lake <br />• Detention upstream of Fellows Street downstream of Southfield Lake <br />• Expansion/modification of the Southfield Lake facility <br />Task 5 — Preliminary Watershed Report Preparation <br />MEL staff will summarize the findings of the watershed analysis with a narrative and support exhibits. <br />From the hydrologic analysis outlined above, the report will focus on: <br />• Impacts to Southfield Lake from the Miami Road widening project <br />• Differences in hydrologic approach and results from the design analysis for Southfield Lake <br />• The recommended size of Southfield Lake detention for existing and future Southfield <br />development conditions <br />Task 6 —Coordination Meetings <br />MEL staff will attend meetings as requested by the City. At a minimum, MEL staff would anticipate <br />meeting with a representative of the St. Joseph County Surveyor Office in the field once and the St. <br />Joseph County Engineer once, as directed by the City. <br />Southfield Lake Hydrologic Study <br />Study and Report Phase - Scope of Services <br />Page 14 of 17 <br />(Exhibit A- Engineer's Services) <br />
