Jefferson Blvd. South Bend, IN 46601 Re: New Fire Station #9 Dear Kevin, On behalf of EPOCH, I would like to thank you for giving us the opportunity to present to you our proposal for professional services regarding the new Fire Station #9 along Mishawaka Avenue between Ironwood Drive and 21" Street. Proiect Scope Based on our conversations with you we understand the development of the new Fire Station #9 will be approx. 8,000 sf and most likely a combination of single story apparatus bay and two-story construction. The project is expected to be LEED Silver Certified. We understand the project will be bid in later winter, early spring for a spring 2018 construction start. We will work with you to define an adequate design phase schedule that works with both of our schedules while providing adequate time for submittal to the Board of Public Works. We will work within traditional design phases: • Programming • Schematic Design • Design Development • Construction Documents • Bidding • Construction Administration We will establish goals for each of the phases and receive sign offs at each milestone. This will ensure everyone is on the same page and that the progress being made matches the established schedule.
