SPECIFICATION COMPLIANCE <br />SPEC U: FREIGHTLINER 114SD CHASSIS <br />THE FOLLOWING COMPONENTS EXCEED MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS: <br />1.) Engine warranty includes water pump, turbo and injectors; not requested. <br />2.) Cummins SCR aftertreatment coverage included, though not requested. <br />3.) Cab is steel reinforced aluminum, exceeding steel cab spec requested. <br />4.) Fuel tank is 90 gallon capacity, exceeding the 80 gallon tank requested. <br />5.) Air wet tank equipped with heated moisture ejector, though not requested. <br />6.) Magnetic fill as well as drain plugs in engine, transmission and all axles. <br />7.) Cab equipped with air suspension, though not requested. <br />8.) All wheels are polished aluminum, exceeding steel wheels specified. <br />9.) Page 11, Cooling: PTO shaft passes through a heavy aluminum conduit to the <br />flange, not under the radiator as requested. <br />2.) Page 11, Transmission: Auxiliary in -line filter is not recommended by Allison. <br />The 300ORDS transmission has an internal filter only. <br />3.) Page 11, Exhaust: The vertical stack has a curved end, eliminating the need for <br />a rain cap. <br />4.) Page 11, Tires: Michelin tires were bid I/L/O Continental tires. The Continental <br />tires requested are currently unavailable.
