not the water pump to eliminate unnecessary high <br />pressure ball valve bypass and water pump wear. <br />The rated design capacity of the high pressure water <br />pump shall be 20 GPM and 3000 PSI. This capacity <br />shall insure long pump life. A certification by the pump <br />manufacturer for continuous duty shall be provided. <br />The high pressure water pump will be designed so no <br />damage will occur if run at normal operating speed <br />without water for 10 minutes. A certification by the <br />original water pump manufacturer to operate in such a <br />manner shall be provided. <br />The water pump will be used to purge residual water out <br />of the water system by pumping air through entire water <br />system. Drain plugs will be provided in the bottom <br />section of the water pump for complete cold weather <br />draining. <br />The water pump shall be capable of maximum water <br />pressure and flow while achieving maximum vacuum <br />pressure. The water pump shall operate independent of <br />vacuum system. <br />An oil to water heat exchanger will be provided in the <br />water system to cool all hydraulic fluids on the unit. <br />A monitor light shall be provided to indicate when <br />designed flow or pressure is exceeded. <br />Water pump shall have capabilities of being engaged or <br />disengaged form driving mechanism at one front control <br />panel by turning on or off an electric switch thus <br />providing added control and safety. <br />Hydra- A smooth continuous variable flow of up to 20 GPM and YES NO <br />excavation 3,000 PSI shall be provided at the hand gun. The hand <br />System: gun shall be high pressure full functioning with on/off <br />control, replaceable tips, and a relief valve set at 3,000 <br />PSI. The gun shall include 20' of/z" stainless steel high <br />pressure pipe extensions. Three nozzles, high speed <br />rotating, dual orifice and triple orifice. <br />The system shall include 50' of %" high pressure hose on <br />a retractable spring loaded hose reel located on the <br />passenger side of the unit next to the manhole cleaning <br />17 <br />
