CLAIMS REVIEW MEETING MAY 30, 2017 167 <br />A Claims Review Meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 9:06 a.m. on Tuesday, <br />May 30, 2017, by Board Member Elizabeth Maradik with Board Members Therese Dorau, and <br />James Mueller present. Board President Gary Gilot and Board Member Suzanna Fritzberg were <br />absent. The meeting was held in the 13t' Floor Boardroom, County -City Building, 227 W. <br />Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, Indiana. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Ms. Dorau stated that a request to pay claims has been received by the Board; each claim is fully <br />supported by an invoice; the person receiving the goods or services has approved the claims; and <br />the claims have been filed with the City Fiscal Officer and certified for accuracy. Ms. Dorau stated <br />the following claims were submitted to the Board for approval: <br />Name Amount of Claim Date <br />City of South Bend $1,098,211.51 05/31/2017 <br />City of South Bend $1,282,219.27 OS/30/2017 <br />Thieneman Construction $14,793.80 05/24/2017 <br />Therefore, Ms. Dorau made a motion that after review of the expenditures, the claims be approved <br />as submitted. Mr. Mueller seconded the motion, which carried. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, upon a motion made by Ms. Maradik, <br />seconded by Mr. Mueller and carried, the meeting adjourned at 9:07 a.m. <br />h <br />4AT EST: <br />L nda M.
