Committee Chair Voorde then opened the floor to members of the public wising to speak in <br /> favor of or in opposition to the legislation. There were none. <br /> Committee Chair Voorde then turned the floor back to the Committee for further discussion or <br /> main motion. Committeemember Ferlic made a motion to send Bill No. 23-17 to the full Council <br /> with a favorable recommendation. Committeemember Kelly seconded the motion which carried <br /> unanimously by a voice vote of four(4) ayes. <br /> Bill No. 24-17- Replacinjz Ordinance 10497-17 <br /> Aladean DeRose, City Attorney, stated, On the cover letter,the bill is incorrectly identified. It is <br /> meant to read twenty-four seventeen(24-17) not twenty-three seventeen(23-17). This bill is a <br /> correcting bill. The original ordinance was adopted February 13th, 2017. It was vacating a portion <br /> of the alley in order for the Center of History to relocate a historical building to that location. We <br /> noticed that the property is forty-nine (49) feet and not the twelve (12) feet that was specified in <br /> the ordinance. <br /> Committee Chair Voorde opened the floor to the Committee or Council for questions. There <br /> were none. He then opened the floor to members of the public wishing to speak in favor of or in <br /> opposition to the legislation. There were none. He then turned the floor back to the Committee <br /> for further discussion or main motion. <br /> Committeemember Randy Kelly made a motion to send Bill No. 24-17 to the full Council with a <br /> favorable recommendation. Committeemember Karen White seconded the motion which carried <br /> unanimously by a voice vote of four(4) ayes. <br /> With no further business, Committee Chair Voorde adjourned the Public Works and Property <br /> Vacation Committee meeting at 4:20 p.m. <br /> Resp�ct ly Subm ed, <br /> John Voorde, Committee Chair <br /> 3 <br />
