• • a 1 J <br /> January 22, 1962 <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> No. 3 - - 62 <br /> WHEREAS, the need for further public housing in <br /> the City has been questioned, and <br /> WHEREAS, sufficient information regarding the <br /> effect of the Urban Renewal Program of the Chapin Street <br /> area on the need for public housing for displaced persons <br /> of this area, and the Sample Street Renewal area,now, <br /> therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED, that the Executive Director of the <br /> Urban Renewal Commission and the Executive Director of <br /> the South Bend Housing Authority be directed to give to <br /> the Common Council and each member thereof, the last <br /> information on the following subjects: <br /> (1) The number of persons relocated and to be <br /> relocated by the Urban Renewal Commission in the <br /> Sample Street area. <br /> (2) The number of persons to be displaced by the <br /> Chapin Street Urban Renewal Project and the number <br /> of these persons who will be eligible and/or in <br /> need of public housing. <br /> (3) The number of persons who have registered for <br /> public housing with the South Bend Housing Authority <br /> and who have not been accomodated. <br /> �' e��4ad'��a' <br /> Mer of the Common Council <br />
