s <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 17---62 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FILING OF APPLICATION WITH THE <br /> HOUSING AND HOME FINANCE AGENCY, UNITED STATES OF <br /> AMERICA, FOR A GRAM' UNDER THE TERMS OF PUBLIC LAIN <br /> 3459 84TH CONGRESS, AS AMENDED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS <br /> ACCELERATION ACT. <br /> WHEREAS, under the terms of said Public Law 3459 as amended, the United <br /> States of America has authorized the making of grants to public bodies to aid <br /> in financing the construction of specific public projects: <br /> NOW THEREFORE, Be It Resolved by Common Council of the City of South <br /> Bend, Indiana <br /> 1. That Frank J. Bruggner, Mayor of the City of South Bend, <br /> Indiana be and he is hereby authorized to execute and <br /> file an application on behalf of the City of South Bend <br /> with the Housing and Hone Finance Agency, United States <br /> Governments for a grant to aid in financing the con- <br /> struction of storm sewers and street improvements. <br /> 2. That Frank J.
