Councilmember Regina Williams-Preston seconded <br /> the motion which carried by a voice vote of eight(8) ayes. <br /> SPECIAL BUSINESS <br /> 17-14 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL <br /> OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, <br /> CONGRATULATING THE JOHN ADAMS HIGH <br /> SCHOOL TEAM "NOT NECESSARILY": THE <br /> 2017 INDIANA HIGH SCHOOL MOCK TRIAL <br /> COMPETITION STATE CHAMPIONS <br /> Councilmember Randy Kelly, 1325 East William Street, South Bend, IN, served as the presenter <br /> of this bill. Councilmember Kelly thanked Councilmember Jo M. Broden and City Clerk <br /> Kareemah Fowler for their involvement with this special resolution, and called to the podium <br /> those affiliated with the mock trial team"Not Necessarily."
