Quote: <br /> "Upon motion by Dan A. Clark, seconded by Charles Sonneborn, <br /> and by unanimous vote of its Board of Directors , the Down- <br /> town South Bend Council, Inc. endorses in principal Mayor <br /> Bruggner' s Parking Committee report. Also, it endorses in <br /> principal this association entering into agreement with the <br /> City of South Bend to lease the parking facilities recommend- <br /> ed by the Mayor's Parking Committee at a figure sugficient <br /> to retire the bonds and to provide the necessary operating <br /> expenses . The motion further stated that the Board of Direc- <br /> tors of the Downtown South Bend Council, Inc. would take an <br /> affirmative, positive position and favorable stand on the <br /> Parking Committee ' s report and do everything possible to see <br /> that recommendations in the report are implemented."
