RESOLUTION NO. S_ <br /> RESOLUTION FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION IN THE <br /> LAND ACCO=., OF THE SANITATION DEPARTMENT IN THE <br /> 2%MOUF1T OF $1000.00 A?TD T'', TRANSFER OF THE SAME <br /> FROM THE MOTOR EQUIPMENT ACCOUNT IN THE SAME CATLGORY <br /> OF THi SANIT_Y"TON D3PAR'__ANT, ALL WITHIN THE GENERAL <br /> FUND. <br /> WHEREAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the <br /> adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it is now necessary to <br /> appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the <br /> various functions of City Government to meet such extraordinary contingencies; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS, Funds for land improvements are urgently needed by the Sani- <br /> tation Department to assure its ability to properly perform its function and <br /> the sun of One Thousand ($1000.00) Dollars is needed forthwith; and, <br /> WHEREAS, A surplus exists in another account where it is not presently <br /> needed at this time; and more specifically as follows, to-wit: <br /> 1. One Thousand ($1000.00) Dollars in Account XX-722 designated as <br /> Motor Equipment Account. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SOUTH BEND, that the sum of One Thousand ($1000.00) Dollars be transferred <br /> to Account XX-73 designated as Land Account, by transferring it from Account <br /> XX-722, both of said accounts being in the same category, to-wit: Properties, <br /> of the Sanitation Department all within the General Fund. <br /> FILED IN CLERK'S OFFICE <br />
