RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: ADOPTION OF EXISTING MASTER PLAN AND ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA RESOLUTION WHEREAS, there is now in force in the City of South Bend, Indiana an ordinance known as the Master ( Comprehensive) Plan of South Bend, Indiana consisting of maps , charts , and descriptive reports as follows : 1. The Major Thoroughfares Plan. 2 . A Long Range Plan for Recreation Areas . 3. Land Use Analysis 4. Report on Relief and Extension of Sewer Facilities . 5. A Long Range Plan for the Future Use of Land, and, WHEREAS, there is now in force in the City of South Bend Indiana a Zoning Ordinance , commonly known as Ordinance No. 3702 , as amended, and, WHEREAS , there is now in force in the City of South Bend, Indiana a Subdivision Ordinance , commonly known as Ordinance No. 4563-63 , and, WHEREAS, on the 28th Day of September 1964 St. Joseph County , Indiana acting by and through its Board of County Commissioners duly passed an ordinance named and styled as follows : "AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE PROVISIONS OF THE AREA PLANNING ACT, CHAPTER 138, ACTS OF 1957, INDIANA GENERAL ASSEMBLY, AS AMENDED" which said ordinance adopted the provisions of the Area Planning Act of Indiana for the County of St. Joseph, Indiana, and, WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana being a city within the geographical boundaries of the County of St. Joseph, State of Indiana did on the 28th Day of September 1964 duly adopt Ordinance No. 4691-64 entitled "AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE PROVISIONS OF THE AREA PLANNING ACT, CHAPTER 138, ACTS OF 1957, INDIANA GENERAL ASSEMBLY, AS AMENDED" which said ordinance adopted the provisions of the Area Planning Act of Indiana for the City of South Bend, Indiana, and, Ist&2nd READING 9-ate S-- COAtwHTTEE OF THE WHOLE IN CLERK'S OFFICE PUBLIC HEMIN6 3rd READING S E P 22 1965 NOT APPROVED KATHRYN L.
