e RESOLUTION NO. 124-65 RESOLUTION FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS TO ACCOUNTS H-214 AND H-221B, OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORICS AND SA MY IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,500..00 AND THE TRANSFER OF THE SAM FROM THE ELECTRIC CURRENT ACCOUNT IN THE SAME CATEGORY, TO-WIT: SERVICES CONTRACTUAL,, AND ALL IN THE GENERAL FUND. WHEREAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget for the various functions of City Government to meet such extraordinary contingencies; and IMMEAS, Additional services are urgently needed by the Board of Public Works and Safety to assure its ability to properly perform its function and the sure of $1,500.00 is needed forthwith; and [IHEREAS, A surplus exists in another account where it is not presently needed at this tine; and more specifically as follows, to-wit: 1. One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) H-221, Services- Contractual, Electric Current. NOW, THEREFOP.E, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, That the sun oj_ $1,500.00 be transferred from Account H-221 designated as Services-Contractual, Electric Current, by trans- ferring it to the following accounts, to—wit: A. One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) to Account H-214, designated as Services Contractual, Telephone and Telegraph. B. Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) to Account H-221B, designated as Services Contractual, Electric Current-Buildings.
