BLOUGH <br /> CITY CLERK, SOUTH BEND, IND, <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 144-66 <br /> A RESOLUTION FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION IN THE <br /> "REPAIR PARTS" ACCOUNT OF THE MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY <br /> DEPARTMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $15,000.00 AND THE <br /> TRANSFER OF THE SAME FROM THE "SALT"ACCOUNT IN THE <br /> SAME CATEGORY, TO-WIT: "MATERIALS", AND ALL BEING <br /> IN THE MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND. <br /> WHEREAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have developed since <br /> the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it is now necessary <br /> to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget <br /> for the various functions of City Government to meet such extraordinary <br /> contingencies; and <br /> WHEREAS, Additional funds for repairing of equipment are urgently <br /> needed by the Motor Vehicle Highway Department to assure its ability to <br /> properly perform its function and the sum of $15,000.00 is needed <br /> forthwith; and <br /> WHEREAS, A surplus exists in another account where it is not <br /> presently needed; and more specifically as follows, to-wit: <br /> 1. Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00) in ACCOUNT MVH-422 <br /> designated as "Salt". <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SOUTH BEND, That the sum of $15,000.00 be transferred from ACCOUNT <br /> MVH-422 designated as "Salt", by transferring it to the following <br /> account, to-wit: <br /> 2.
