This <br /> petition is set for public hearing before the Common Council on Monday, May 22, 2017. <br /> Ordinance & Petition Amendments: <br /> The following changes have been made to the above referenced petition: <br /> Ordinance &Petition: <br /> 1.) Owners name was updated to reflect sale of property <br /> 2.) Proposed zoning classification was changed to SF2 <br /> 3.) Variances were added to correspond to updated site plan <br /> 4.) Site Plan was updated to reflect proposed single family development <br /> A Copy of the revised Ordinance is attached. <br /> Public Hearing Summary: <br /> There was 1 person that spoke in favor of the proposed rezoning, noting that they appreciated the <br /> developers response to neighbor's concerns and were looking forward to 22 new families joining the <br /> neighborhood.There were 9 people that spoke in opposition.They expressed concerns about the changing <br /> view, density, construction disrupting the neighborhood, increase traffic and parking within the <br /> neighborhood (effect on fire access, pedestrian safety, and access to property), noise, student rental and <br /> absentee ownership, change in neighborhood character, and demolition of trees and green space. <br /> If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me at(574) 235-9571. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Angela M.
