BLOUGH <br /> CITY CLERK, SOUTH BEND, IND. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 166-67 <br /> A RESOLUTION FOR AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION <br /> IN ACCOUNT L-12 , "TEMPORARY HELP" , OF THE <br /> OFFICE OF THE CITY ENGINEER, IN THE AMOUNT <br /> OF $4000 .00 AND THE TRANSFER OF THE SAME <br /> FROM ACCOUNT L-11, "SERVICES PERSONAL" , ALL <br /> IN THE SAME CATEGORY, AND WITHIN THE GENERAL <br /> FUND. <br /> WHEREAS, Certain extraordinary conditions have developed <br /> since the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it <br /> is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropri- <br /> ated in the annual budget for the various functions of City <br /> Government to meet such extraordinary contingencies , and <br /> WHEREAS, Additional funds for Account L-12 , "Temporary <br /> Help" , are urgently needed by the Office of the City Engineer <br /> to assure its ability to properly perform its function and <br /> the sum of $4000.00 is needed forthwith; and <br /> WHEREAS, A surplus exists in another account where it <br /> is not presently needed; and more specifically as follows, <br /> to wit: <br /> $4000.00 in Account L-11 designated as <br /> "Services Personal" . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, That the sum of $4000.00 be transferred <br /> from Account L-11 designated as "Services Personal" to <br /> Account L-12 designated as "'Temporary Help" , both of said <br /> account being in the same category and all within the General <br /> Fund . <br /> Ist&2nd READING 8-14-67 <br /> COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE <br /> PUBLIC HEARING 8-14-67 _ <br /> READING 8-14-67 <br /> 3rd <br /> Member of the Common Council <br /> NOT APPROVED <br /> REFERRED <br /> PASSED 8-14-67 <br />
