RESOLUTION NO. 183-68 <br /> A RESOLUTION FOR AN ADDITIONAL, APPROPRIATION <br /> IN ACCOUNT P-725, "OFFICE EQUIPMENT", OF THE <br /> POLICE DEPARTMENT, IN THE AMOUNT OF $600.00 <br /> AND THE TRANSFER OF THE SAME FROM ACCOUNT <br /> P-722, "MOTOR EQUIPMENT", ALL IN THE SAME <br /> CATEGORY, AND WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND. <br /> WHEREAS, certain extraordinary conditions have developed since <br /> the adoption of the existing annual budget, so that it is now nec- <br /> essary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual <br /> budget for the various functions of city government to meet such ex= <br /> traordinary contingencies; and <br /> WHEREAS, additional funds for the Police Department are needed to <br /> assure the department's ability to properly perform its functions, and <br /> the sum of $600.00 is needed forthwith; and <br /> WHEREAS, a surplus exists in another account where it is not pre- <br /> sently needed; and more specifically as follows, to-wit: <br /> $600.00 in Account P-722 designated as "Motor Equipment" <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CaUON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> SOUTH BEND, that the sum of $600.00 be transferred from Account P-722 <br /> designated as "Motor Equipment" to Account P-725 designated as "Office <br /> Equipment", both of said accounts being in the same category "Properties" <br /> and being within the General Fund. <br /> n <br /> Member of the CommoL19c il <br /> Itt 6 2nd READING -G A <br /> WMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE FILED IN CLERK'S OFFICE <br /> PUBLIC NEARING 4-8-68 <br /> 3rd READING ( ; ' 2 1968 <br /> NOT APPROVED KATHRYN L.
